Polymorph is more like a secondary, in many cases utility skill, same goes with necromancer.
Divinity original sin 2 polymorph points full#
Like I said, this was used for honor mode and it was one of the most fun party compositions Ive used, so it should work well for you tooĭon't go full polymorph. You can swap for any other physical damage dealer here, this class isnt mandatory

Just a few points in STR or INT to allow you to use good armors, and always use a shieldĪnd for the default warrior, not much secret here, warfare and strenght all the way, make sure to also put a few points in polymorph too since some poly skills scale with strength. A couple points in aero, hydro and geomancy for the buffs(teleport and evasion, ice and rock armor etc) Focus your points on constitution and memory, this character wont deal any damage. Get the Torturer talent and use ignition to make enemies weaker to fire to increase the damage dealt by your fire warrior, and then the Glass Cannon talent to make enemies spend their CCs on your summoner, taking aggro away from your other dps characters. After unlocking the skills that you want focus the rest of the points in Two Handed since it also increases your crit (remember to get Savage Sortilege talent too)įor the Support Summoner you always prioritize summoning either Fire or Blood Incarnates, depending on the situation. Get that bull form skill from polymorph, its pretty good here.

You also can use Corpse Explosion if you want but i think that it makes the game too easy, your choiceįor the next roles you can use any character that you wantįire Warrior, you use a fire staff with warfare skills (especially whirlwind) and always apply Fire Sparks so that every time you hit a enemy youll send bouncing damage to the others. Get a couple points in necro for debuff skills, max out Warfare until you can do the combo Raining Blood + Grasp of the Starved, also remember to get that Talent that makes skills cost less AP when standing in their element. Sebille (or your main character if its an elf) works very well as a Witch, you go as a dual dagger rogue, focus Finesse and then Intelligence. Witch + Fire Warrior + Default Warrior + Support Summoner I will recommend a composition that I used to beat the game in honour mode, its extremely fun. The Dome of Protection available to custom characters can be a handy Source skill for newer players as well. I don't think that you'll miss too much by playing a custom-built character given that you've already covered or will be covering the Origin characters' stories. The Conjurer on the other hand will be principally invested in getting Summoning maxxed as soon as practically possible. A Necromancer does not require Necro' 10 but Warfare 10 instead. As a principally physical party you're going to want to invest heavily in Warfare on the Fighter, Necro', and Rogue with a small investment into other schools for skills (for instance your Rogue will want Scoundrel 2 at Level 4 for skills but still invest in Warfare for multiplicative physical damage). I've got no issue with the party proposed (Summoner, Polymorph, Necromancer, Rogue) although the 'Polymorph' build would presumably be a Two Handed Weapon Warrior with a heavy commitment to Polymorph skills to supplement their Warfare skills. I agree with u/Responsible-Can-8668 here in that utility skills add a lot of options to your gameplay, and the Teleport-Corpse Explosion-Raise Bloated Corpse combo is a good example of how dips can provide some excellent options.
